Vision of Triumph

LOCATION: ATELIER BY STYLISTS AT NORTH IN OLD TOWN, ALEXANDRIA

I dedicate this shoot to my father’s eternal inspiration and influence in my life. I am grateful that we shared our pride with each other and miss the magical sparkle of his eyes. As we approach this holiday, my heart aches from his loss, but I’m inspired to live and breathe his legacy. His legacy is what fueled the energy for this shoot.

Triumph is about empowering and perseverance – allowing yourself to fall and pick yourself back up. I was fascinated to explore this idea through the power of symbolism. These images explore the energetic value of color and the shamanic representation of animals, such as the leopard who has the capacity to observe multiple situations and meet them with clarity. I mean seriously, who doesn’t want to rise to that vibration? I used palettes of gold and blue to convey tranquility and connection to the higher self.

It was an honor for me to do the complete styling for this shoot, from wardrobe to hair to sculpting my incredible clients’ faces. You heard it, these women aren’t working models! They are powerful women impacting our community.
