At Stylist at North, we believe the journey of beauty is intentional expression, radical honesty, and vulnerability and that redefining vanity is the art of healing self-esteem.

The inspiration for Rising in Silence pulls from those brilliant moments when you are with self and stillness, getting to know your inner wisdom in a new capacity. It’s about reaching the deepest level of acceptance and love so we can create new pathways to connection.

When I decided it was time to launch and work on our Spring/Summer Collection, I completely froze. My heart and mind didn’t know what direction to take. Where do we do go from last year? Where am I now? What do I feel? What do I think?

As many of you know, I was already on a journey of grief before the pandemic. As this last year unfolded, the world came together to mourn the loss of so many things: normalcy, family members, friends, jobs, businesses, community, touch, and connection. I deeply honor that and let it serve as a reminder that in stillness, we can connect with our inner voice, find inner wisdom, and let it guide us. Let us begin the journey of healing by acknowledging our pain and listening to our hearts with deep empathy.

From my heart to yours, I can’t thank you enough for not only supporting our vision but preserving it and giving it more opportunity to grow and create.
