    OWNER/FOUNDER/ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Mindfulness and communication are at the center of my heart and of Stylists At North. I have had an energetic career that began over 20 years ago at Graham Webb International. It has since evolved from working behind the chair to working behind the scenes at New York and Paris fashion weeks; editorial work; an amazing hairdressing journey of educating and mentoring. I also draw inspiration from being part of the Intercoiffure community, a prestigious international organization of high quality hairdressers. You can see my work featured in such publications as Girls Life magazine and DC Modern Luxury’s Best of Bridal.

    CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Representing a person’s true essence has been my ultimate goal throughout my 30+ year career. I take a personal approach to hair by exploring texture, hair goals, creative visions, and customizing your individual style. I love letting hair have its own personality – may it be sassy, edgy, sexy, calm, moody, seductive, or loveable. It makes the application of styling, color, and cutting techniques exciting. I'm extremely grateful I can use my art to help transform lives by focusing on inner beauty, confidence, self-empowerment and self-esteem.

I want to connect with my guests so they feel completely at ease in my chair and trust that they will love their hair when they leave. As an educator specializing in French haircutting and balayage, I have the privilege of helping my peers cultivate their artistry. That tendency towards guidance and nurturing is also deeply rooted in every service I provide. I’m proud of my ability to understand the concerns and desires of my guests in order to give them the beautiful, yet low-maintenance, hair of their dreams.

I have been on this journey for 18 years with a great education that spans from Vidal Sassoon to Candy Shaw. I'm a mom to three wonderful kids who inspire me to be better every day. I love listening to music and dancing. It’s important to make my guests feel comfortable when they sit in my chair. My top priority is the health of your hair and to help you find what works for your everyday lifestyle. One of my specialties – and loves – is foil highlighting technique and to keep growing as a hair artist.

Iconic looks and amazing colors are my favorite things to do. A great haircut can lead to favorite memories in the photo album and give people confidence in their everyday life. Being behind the chair for over 20 years has been a blessing, giving me the chance to travel to popular hair shows, inventions, and to do bridal showers. This wealth of experience has led my works to be recognized as high quality and help their clients feel their best.

I have been behind the chair since 2006 and am a lover of easy, lived-in hair. I draw my inspiration from the bangs, bobs, and luscious locks of yore. I love modernizing those looks and adding personal touches tailored to you and your hair. When you’re in my chair I want you to feel safe, empowered, seen and heard – like we’ve been friends forever.

I am from Bolivia where I studied beauty at an academy. When I was 19, my parents moved us to the U.S. and I was worried my studies had been in vain because I didn’t speak the language. I worked as much as possible, started a wonderful family, and landed a job at a salon as a shampoo assistant. With a lot of patience, I worked my way up to be the personal assistant of the salon owner who taught me colormetry, how to cut and style, and sent me to beauty classes. Nowadays, not only am I a hairdresser, but I do waxing, eyebrow tinting, and more. I am happy to be part of the Stylists at North team doing what I love.

I am a cosmetologist who has loved makeup ever since childhood. Since elementary school, I’ve been perfecting my skills, starting in theater with stage makeup. I expanded my background in beauty by getting a cosmetology license during the recent pandemic. I can't wait to see where the industry takes me!
