Old Town Atelier — Stylists at North

LOCATION: ATELIER BY STYLISTS AT NORTH IN OLD TOWN, ALEXANDRIA

This shoot was all about merging my dreams and passions. The addition of our Atelier to the Stylist at North studio is about giving my deepest loves a home that can be shared with the community.

Many people don’t realize that I started my career as a makeup artist and throughout my journey of hairdressing, there have always been moments where I was asked to pick one or the other.

Working on this shoot was awakening, I did not have to choose between the two. I realized that I can live a creative life using my entire toolbox, nurturing all of my passions wholeheartedly. I could share this vision with my clients to give them the ultimate experience. My friend, Heather West, who creates Gypsy Hawk Jewelry – and now clothing as well – is an artist who fully shares this spectrum of curiosity. She believes in continuously tapping into it to grow.
